About Us: At Linden Street Dance Studio, our goal is to put you in charge of what you want to learn, whether you're just starting out or you're an advanced competitive dancer. Where the big franchise studios might try to steer you into a one-size-fits-all class, we'll work with you to teach you whatever steps you like, from a single dance for a party or wedding all the way up to an ongoing custom program just for you. Founded in 2006 by a group of professional instructors
who wanted to teach in the style they knew works best, Linden Street Dance
offers group lessons as well as one-on-one sessions for all levels of
experience. Our most popular courses are in Ballroom and Salsa dancing,
but if you've got something else in mind, we can show you the right
moves. Our facility near the Oakland
waterfront was formerly the practice studio for the Oakland Ballet, and is
located just a few blocks from Jack London Square. To schedule an

Bachata

Tuesdays @ 7:30pm In this series we will expand our basic Bachata to include moves that travel and show off our partnership. We will also work on hip motions and the general feel of Bachata as we have now started to become familiar with the feel of the dance.

salsa formation class, where you'll learn how to switch partners while
spinning and doing impressive tricks. Pick up a cool skill you can
pull out at the salsa clubs and join us for this performance
class.

Bradley's Technique

Learn
the fundamental techniques you need to dance
ballroom
at a higher level. Bradley will break down
useful
and necessary general techniques to improve every type
of
dancer. These classes will not build so dropping in is
encouraged,
taking just one of these classes will
hugely
improve
your
dancing!
$50 per person for 4 week series or $15 a class Call to sign up - 510.444.3404  Argentine Tango Boot Camp with Murat & Michelle Erdemsel for Experienced Dancers Feb 11 & 12, 2012 (10:30a-6pm each day) 13
hrs of instruction packed into this fast paced, kick-butt weekend of
intensive Argentine Tango for experienced dancers. The focus of this
boot camp is the signature style of Murat & Michelle. Take a look

the things Murat & Michelle do best is teach musicality. The Sat
program will be dedicated to just that! Sunday will be reserved for
advanced figures and technique. Christy and other teachers will be on
hand to assist the Boot Camp as well.
This is the first time since Christy’s Boot Camps began in Jan of 2007 that a boot camp is not taught by Christy (sometime with various partners). Murat & Michelle were invited because of their unique approach to the dance which Christy feels worthy of her Boot Camp reputation! Don’t miss this opportunity to study with these two amazing dancers and teachers. You may register with a partner (in which case you will not change partners) or solo (in which case you will rotate partners).
